Connecting causes that matter with people who care
We provide grants to help charities and community organisations who are supporting local people facing disadvantage, to improve their lives.
We do this by working with individuals, families, businesses, professional advisors, and charitable trusts, helping them to fund local groups that are tackling the issues they care about most.

Suffolk Community Foundation and @sizewellc are delighted to announce that £89,153 has been awarded to I Made This through the Sizewell C Community Fund. The Adventures in Animation project sees experienced facilitators working with young people with autism/ASD or other special educational needs (SEN) to empower and inspire the young people to create stop-motion animation films.
Paul Fitzgerald, Project Manager said: “I Made This is excited to be able to deliver our stop-motion animation project – for children with autism and other special needs – in the Leiston area thanks to the Sizewell C Community Fund. The grant will enable us to expand the work we have been doing in East Suffolk for the past 15 years. Our application was in part successful because of the support and advice from Suffolk Community Foundation, whose guidance was invaluable.”
The Sizewell C Community Fund will provide up to £23m to local charities, community groups and organisations which are delivering projects that benefit local communities most impacted by Sizewell C construction in East Suffolk. Find out more at www.sizewellcfund.org.uk

CEO Tara Spence updated the High Sheriff on some of the challenges the 30,000 families in poverty are facing in the county and the need for continued support.
The second visit was to @brightenthecornersips (formerly Out Loud Music). CEO Joe Bailey talked about the education and training programmes they offer to young people aged between 16-25 wanting to enter the music sector and plans for their multi-venue Music Festival which takes place 13th & 14 June.

On Thursday 15th May, we held a Funding and Community Engagement Event at East Suffolk House in partnership with @eastsuffolkcouncil. We were joined by representatives from @tnlcommunityfund, @heritagefunduk, @suffolkcountycouncilofficial and @commactionsuff, each of whom delivered presentations on current funding opportunities and the support available.
The event also included a Q&A session, networking opportunities, and the chance to book follow-up funding support sessions. Over 85 people attended across the two sessions. It was a pleasure to connect with so many individuals and engage in thoughtful, productive conversations.
Thank you to all those who attended 💜
